Think about our language: we want everybody to feel welcome in our society - so we may need a strategy where an all round invitation drawn on a poster needs to be complemented by a targeted message to those who because of different causes are marginalised. This is where the concept of 'Intentional Invitation' emerged... so that people who may not normally engage in community-wide activities do feel welcome.
